上一期我们少儿英语故事说到，在皮皮猩Victor的生日Party上，Pandora偷吃了懒惰猪Jimmy送给皮皮猩Victor的香蕉，Jimmy和Victor都十分生气。
Pandora asked Jimmy and Victor to forgive her, but Victor said to her, “Pandora, I can forgive you, but why would you take my bananas? They were Jimmy’s gift to me. If you wanted to eat one, you could have asked me.”
Pandora请求Jimmy和Victor的原谅，但是Victor说：Pandora，我可以原谅你，但是你为什么要偷吃香蕉呢?那是Jimmy送给我的礼物，如果你想吃的话，你可以告诉我呀?
Pandora felt especially embarrassed, and couldn’t bring herself to say anything. At this time, Teacher Rolin said, “Pandora, if you have a reason, please tell us. This way, Victorcan forgive you. If you don’t say anything, they might think you’re dishonest.No one wants to be friends with someone who isn’t honest.”
Pandora觉得特别难为情，一直不愿意说话。这时猫头鹰老师Rolin说：
Pandora，如果有什么原因你就说出来，这样Victor就原谅你了，如果你一直不肯告诉我们，我想他们不会想和不诚实的孩子做朋友的。
At this time, Pandora finally began to speak: “I’m sorry, Victor. My parents gathered some food on the other side of the forest. Yesterday, I ate all of the food that my mother prepared for me. I haven’t eaten in an entire day. I was so hungry, and that’s why I ate the bananas. I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.”
这时，Pandora终于开始说话了，他说：对不起皮皮猩，我的爸爸妈妈去森林的另一边采集食物了，我昨天就把妈妈为我准备的食物吃光了，今天已经一天没有吃饭了。肚子特别饿，所以我才会偷吃香蕉。对不起，我以后再也不会这样了。
After Pandora had finished speaking, everyone went to comfort her. Victor said to her, “It’s okay. I forgive you. But next time, if you have any problems, let us help you!”
等到Pandora讲完，大家都过来安慰他，Victor也跟Pandora说：没关系，我原谅你了。但是以后，如果你遇到困难可以跟我们说，我们大家都能帮助你呀!
Teacher Rolin walked over and said to Pandora, “Yes, Pandora, the power of friendship is very strong. If you have any problems, don’t be shy. Your friends will help you.”
猫头鹰老师Rolin也走过来对Pandora说：对的，Pandora，朋友的力量是很强大的，如果遇到困难，一定不要害羞。朋友们会帮助你一起解决难题的。
Victor and Jimmy both invited Pandora to come to their houses if she ever needed to eat. That way she wouldn’t be hungry again before her mother returned.
皮皮猩Victor、懒惰猪Jimmy都邀请Pandora到自己家里去吃饭，在Pandora的妈妈回来之前，他再也不用饿肚子啦!
