上周我们少儿英语故事说到Junior的超人爸爸Cris回到Happy Forest，并给孩子们带了一堆礼物[a1] 。Junior留下了自己最喜欢的飞机模型，然后把礼物分给伙伴们。
Junior gave Iris a doll, and to Andrew he gave a toy car. Pandora received a pair of pink gloves, and Victor got a soccer ball. Everyone was very happy.
Junior给了Iris一个洋娃娃，给了Andrew一辆小汽车，Pandora收到了一双粉色的手套，Victor收到的则是一个足球。大家都很高兴。
The next day, Junior brought his model airplane to the park to play, and discovered that Iris, Andrew, Pandora, Victor and Teacher Rolin were all there. He wanted to go greet them, but saw that Iris was playing with the toy car and Pandora was playing with the soccer ball. Victor was wearing the pink gloves, and he and Andrew were playing with the doll.
第二天，Junior带着他的飞机模型来到公园玩，他发现公园里还有Iris，Andrew，Pandora，Victor和Rolin老师。他刚想上去打招呼，却发现Iris开着小汽车，Pandora在草地上踢足球，Victor戴着那双粉色的手套，正在和Andrew玩着洋娃娃。
Junior was very surprised. He ran over to them and asked, “Andrew, why are you playing with the doll? Victor, pink is a color for girls. Why are you wearing the gloves?” Victor replied, “I like pink. Is that wrong? Andrew thought the doll was very pretty, so he traded with Iris.”
Junior惊讶地跑上前去问：“Andrew，你怎么在玩洋娃娃?Victor，粉红色是女孩子的颜色，你怎么能戴这双手套呢?”Victor疑惑，“我喜欢粉红色，这有错吗?Andrew觉得洋娃娃很漂亮，就和Iris交换了。”
Junior went to ask Iris and Pandora. “You’re girls. Why do you like cars and soccer balls? Iris asked him in response, “Who said girls can’t like these things? I really like your model airplane!”
Junior惊讶地问Iris和Pandora：“你们是女孩子，怎么会喜欢小汽车和足球呢?”Iris却反问Junior：“谁规定女孩子不能喜欢这些东西?我还很喜欢你手里的飞机模型呢!”
Teacher Rolin saw Junior’s surprise, and laughed.
“There are no rules for what boys should like, or what girls should like, only your prejudice. See, boys can like pretty things, and girls can like sports. There are excellent female pilots, and great male dancers. Junior, don’t be so quick to define something, or you will lose out on many possibilities.”
看Junior愣在原地，Rolin老师笑眯眯地说，“世界上本来就没有规定男孩子该做什么，女孩子该做什么，这些都是你的偏见。你看，男孩子可以喜欢漂亮的东西，女孩子也可以喜欢刺激的运动。世界上有很优秀的女飞行员，也有很厉害的男舞蹈家。Junior，不要随便对一件事下定义，否则世界上将失去很多可能性。”
Junior nodded. He pulled out his cherished model airplane and shared it with his friends.
Junior点点头，他拿出了心爱的飞机模型，和朋友们一起玩了起来。
